Postdoc Position in Re-programming Autophagy in the Martens lab in collaboration with the Winter lab

A postdoc position is available in the lab of Sascha Martens at the Max Perutz Labs, Vienna BioCenter, in collaboration with the lab of Georg Winter at CeMM. This is an exciting possibility to combine biochemistry, cell biology and chemical biology to reprogram molecular machines driving autophagy using chemical biology approaches. Candidates with a strong background in biochemistry, cell biology, and/or chemical biology are particularly encouraged to apply.

About the Working Environment

The position will be located at the Max Perutz Labs and CeMM. The Max Perutz Labs provide access to state-of-the-art facilities and are located at the Vienna BioCenter, a leading center for the molecular life sciences in Europe. CeMM is a biomedical flagship institute located at the campus of one of the largest hospitals in Europe and provides access to high throughput small molecule screening capabilities, (chemo-) proteomics and single-cell biology approaches.
